The Liquid BBL uses Sculptra — a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) biostimulatory filler — injected strategically into the buttocks to:

During Treatment:
- The treatment area is cleaned and numbed
- Sculptra is injected strategically across the buttocks using a precise placement technique designed to maximize lift, volume, and shape
- Treatment takes approximately 60–90 minutes
- The area is massaged post-injection to ensure even distribution
After Treatment: Some soreness, swelling, and tenderness in the treatment area is expected and resolves within a few days. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions — including the 5-5-5 massage rule (massage the area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days) to ensure optimal results.

Is the Liquid BBL the same as a surgical BBL?
No. A surgical BBL involves fat transfer under general anesthesia — with significant downtime, surgical risks, and recovery. The Liquid BBL achieves similar aesthetic goals using injectable Sculptra — with no surgery, no anesthesia, no incisions, and minimal downtime. Results are natural-looking and build gradually over time.
How many vials of Sculptra are needed?
The number of vials depends on your anatomy, current volume, and desired outcome. Your provider will determine the appropriate amount at your consultation. Most clients require multiple vials per session for optimal results.
Is the Liquid BBL painful?
The treatment area is numbed prior to injection. Some soreness and tenderness in the days following treatment is normal and expected — similar to the feeling after an intense workout. Most clients find this very manageable.
What is the 5-5-5 massage rule?
After your Liquid BBL, you’ll massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days. This ensures the Sculptra distributes evenly and helps achieve the smoothest, most natural results. We’ll walk you through exactly how to do this.
Can I sit after a Liquid BBL?
Yes — unlike surgical BBL procedures, there are no restrictions on sitting after a Liquid BBL. You can return to your normal activities the same day.
Can I combine the Liquid BBL with other treatments?
