The Vi Peel is a physician-strength chemical peel that blends a proprietary combination of acids and skin-brightening ingredients to work on multiple layers of the skin at once. The Vi Peel blends five active ingredients that work together on multiple layers of the skin at once:

TCA to smooth skin and clear blemishes
Salicylic acid to exfoliate, fight acne, and unclog pores
Retinoic acid to soften wrinkles and boost firmness
Vitamin C to stimulate collagen growth
Phenol for deep exfoliation and pigment lightening, also acts as a numbing agent

WHAT TO EXPECT

We start by making sure your skin is prepped and properly hydrated before your peel is applied, so it’s ready to get the most out of the treatment. The peel itself is applied right here in our office in just a few minutes, no numbing needed. It’s left on for 4 hours before you rinse it off at home, following the simple steps in your aftercare kit.

THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION

Most clients come in worried their face is going to visibly peel off in large chunks. It doesn’t work that way. Because we make sure your skin is hydrated and prepped beforehand, the process is gentle and manageable, not dramatic. Most clients can expect some light shedding or flaking.

AFTERCARE

You’ll go home with an aftercare kit that walks you through every step in detail. We also offer a downloadable aftercare app that reminds you when to take your progress photos and guides you through the entire process. It’s completely dummy proof.

HOW OFTEN

We love to see clients back every 4 weeks, and you can keep up a Vi Peel routine indefinitely. It’s also one of our favorite treatments to get all summer long, since it helps keep pigmentation suppressed even during the sunniest months.

FAQ

Will my face visibly peel off?

No. This is the biggest misconception we hear with just a VI Peel. Because your skin is hydrated and prepped beforehand, the process is gentle, not dramatic. If you are getting it paired with Microneedling, you can expect heavy shedding!

Do I need numbing for my Vi Peel?

No numbing is needed for this treatment because the phenol acts as a numbing agent for this chemical peel.

Can I get a Vi Peel in the summer?

Yes! It’s actually one of our favorite treatments to keep up all summer long, since it helps keep pigmentation suppressed even with more sun exposure.

How often should I get a Vi Peel?

We recommend every 4 weeks, and you can continue on this routine indefinitely.

Can I add a Vi Peel to another treatment?

Yes. You can add it onto your Tox as a Tox Booster, or pair it with microneedling for our Gold Standard Facial.
